Hammer Mill
Designed for high performance, Ecostan’s Hammer Mill is a machine for grinding the chipped raw material into smaller sizes for varied industrial applications. With the repeated blows of hammering, it finely grinds a huge variety of biomass materials into powdered form in a range between 3-15mm.
This finely grounded biomass can directly be used as a raw material for Pellet Mills, Briquetting Machines or as a direct heating source etc. This machine can handle input material size upto 25mm, with moisture content upto 15%.

01Raw Materials
Any type of chipped (Agricultural or Forest) waste can be processed through the Hammer Mill.

02Process
With the help of an in-feed screw conveyor, the dried agricultural & forest waste in chipped form is conveyed into the hammer mill, where it is clashed by the hammer blades, grinded and expelled through a perforated screen of a selected size. The raw material is pneumatically conveyed into cyclones with the help of ID Fans. The grinded material then is discharged by the airlocks.

Ecostan’s Hammer Mill Grinder is used to crush and granulate the raw material (agri-forest waste) into smaller pieces. This machine finely grinds a variety of raw materials, turning them into biomass briquettes or pellets for heat generation purposes.
