Flash Dryer
Ecostan’s Flash Dryer is designed to dry a wide range of raw materials. The dryer uses Pneumatic Conveying for drying the raw material having moisture content from 25% to 40%. Ecostan manufactures two types of flash dryers: Single Pass Dryer & Double Pass Dryer. These dryers are essential for the further processing of biomass.
Single Pass Dryer: This dryer is used when the raw material has the moisture content upto 25%. These single pass dryers are designed for rapid drying and moisture reduction in biomass materials
Double Pass Dryer: This dryer is used when the raw material has the moisture content upto 40%. The double pass dryer provides a two-stage drying process for thorough moisture drying.

01Raw Materials
Any type of granulated agricultural or forest waste can be dried and processed.

02Process
With the help of in-feed screw conveyor, the wet raw material is fed into the dryer. The Pneumatic Conveying conveys hot air to dry the wet raw material. The dried material enters into a cyclone with the help of ID Fans. The dried material is discharged at the end by airlocks.

03End Use
The processed material is used for further processing i.e. fine grinding, briquetting, pelletizing etc.
